Home

Home is the default start page in IFS Cloud, offering a highly customizable experience. You can personalize this page by adding predefined widgets that have been authorized by your system administrator.

Navigate to Home

IFS Logo

Click the Logo to navigate to your Home in IFS Cloud.

Note: Additionally you can use the following methods to navigate to Home.

Home Button  

Click the home icon at the top of Navigation Bar.
Note : This could navigate you to either Home or any page you have defined as your Start Page.

Bread Crumbs 1st Node  

Click the first node in the Breadcrumbs.

Home Tile

Click the Home tile at the top of the Navigator Menu.

Note: If desired, you can set any IFS Cloud page as your Start Page, and the Home button will navigate to the page you’ve selected. If you still wish to navigate to the Home, you can use any of the methods mentioned above.

Blank Home Page

By default, your Home will be a blank canvas without any widgets, though some widgets may be pre-loaded depending on your configuration.

You can tailor the Home by adding widgets and configuring the layout to suit your needs.

How to add a Widget to Home Page

To customize your default IFS Cloud Home:

Enter Edit Mode: While on the Home, click the Edit button. This will enable Edit Mode, allowing you to add new widgets or rearrange existing ones

In Edit Mode, click the Manage Widgets button to open the Manage Widgets slide-out menu.

Select any widget from the Add or Remove Widgets section.

Click Apply button to apply the selection.

Click Save button to save the applied changes (Will be visible after you make changes to the existing layout)

To exit without making changes, click the Cancel Edit button.

Change Widget Layout

While in Edit mode, you can tailor the widget layout by dragging and repositioning widgets to different areas of the Home.

Move Layout Button

Once Edit mode is enabled, the Home layout will be grayed out, and a drag icon will appear in the top left corner of each widget.

Cursor

Hover your mouse cursor over the drag icon, and the cursor will change to indicate that you can drag the widget to a new position within the Home layout.

Drag and drop the widget to a new position, then confirm your changes by clicking the Save button.

Branding Widget

Branding Widget

This widget welcomes you in to IFS Cloud. It may appear differently to you if it has been configured to show your organization's branding. However, you have the option to display or hide it on your Home using the Manage Widgets feature

My Lobby Widget

You can add any of your favorite lobby element into this widget.

How to add Elements

Follow the instructions in How to Add a Widget to the Home Page section to add a My Lobby widget. Once added, the widget will provide you with a blank canvas, allowing you to customize it by adding various lobby elements.

Click on the Widget Settings (1) button on the empty widget layout or the Settings (2) button at the top right corner of My Lobby Widget to access My Lobby Settings (A) slide out menu.

Add Lobby Element

In the My Lobby Settings (A) dialog, click the Add Lobby Elements (3) button to open the Element Browser. Here, you can select from the various elements available in IFS Cloud. The Elements are grouped by Element type.

In the Add Lobby Elements (B) menu, select the lobby elements you want to include in the My Lobby Widget from the available categories. Alternatively, use the Find Element (4) search bar to quickly locate specific lobby elements.

After selecting all the desired lobby elements for your My Lobby Widget, click the Add (5) button. This action will move the selected elements to the Lobby Elements in My Lobby (C) section in My Lobby Settings (A) slide-out menu.

Reordering Elements in My Lobby Widget

  • To change the order of elements within the My Lobby Widget, drag and drop the widget tiles up or down in the Lobby Elements in My Lobby (C) section of the My Lobby Settings (A) menu.
  • Once you’re satisfied with the arrangement, click the Apply (6) button to save your modifications.

After adding the desired lobby elements, your My Lobby Widget will appear as shown in the figure below.

How to Add Page Parameters

Once a lobby element is added to the lobby widget, all associated Page Parameters (1) will appear in the top-left corner, under the My Lobby title within the widget space.

To modify the Page Parameters, and the lobby element will adjust to display data according to the values you enter.

To change the parameters:

  • Click the Page Parameters (1) section to open the Page Parameters(a) slide-out menu.
  • Enter the appropriate parameter values in the Value(2) column, and select the corresponding data type from the Data Type(3) drop down menu within the slide-out menu.
  • Click OK button to apply the parameters.

Notification Widget

The Notifications Widget offers functionality similar to the Notifications Panel by displaying all notifications in real time directly on your Home. This means you can stay updated without needing to navigate to the Notifications Panel.
