Unbundle
Explanation
Unbundling involves breaking down a bundled task into individual tasks, allowing
them to be allocated and executed independently.
Prerequisites
- The status of the Bundle Task must be below Work Done.
- Transactions can exist without any reference to Work Assignments.
- There should be no clockings associated with the tasks.
System Effects
When tasks are unbundled, the following outcomes occur:
- The bundled task is separated into standalone tasks.
- Transactions on standalone tasks remain unaffected.
- Resource demands for standalone tasks can be set as allocatable.
- Material and other planning information remain the same on standalone
tasks.
- References to the Bundle Task are removed.
- Any allocations for the Bundle Task are canceled.
- The Bundle Task's status can be Canceled.
- An Event log is generated to visually represent the disconnection process.
As a result of this activity, you can unbundle a bundled task.
