Send Single or Multiple Document Files by E-mail

Explanation

This activity is used to send single or multiple document files by e-mail. A copy of the document file/s is attached to an e-mail message, and data from the document revision is automatically entered into the text field of the message. Using document default values SEND_FILE_BY_EMAIL_SUBJECT for Subject and SEND_FILE_BY_EMAIL_BODY for Body, the content of the e-mail can be predefined for relevant attributes. You only need to address the e-mail and send it. 

Prerequisites

• The selected document revision/s must have a connected document file/s.
• You must have view access to the relevant document revision/s.
• You must have a mail client with MAPI support installed on your computer. 
• IFS Aurena agent should be installed. For details on the file operations that support Aurena Agent, refer to the Uses of Aurena Agent in Document Management.

System Effects

A new e-mail message is created by your mail client with a copy of the document file/s attached to it.
