This activity is used to edit an SLA Commitment. This can be done by opening the Edit SLA Commitment assistant. This is only possible if the Commitment has been created manually.
Once an SLA Commitment has been created manually it can also be edited. There are restrictions to what is possible to edit that is dependent on the status of the SLA Commitment.
If the status is Planned
Editing is possible without any restrictions. This can be done from the Edit SLA Commitment assistant or from the SLA Commitment page.
If the status is Active
The commitment description, fulfillment entity, fulfillment entity reference, fulfillment event, commitment type and work task applicability details can be edited using the Edit SLA Commitment assistant from the SLA tabs on Request Details, Request Work Task, Request Work Task - Scheduling and Allocation, Request Work Task - Execution and Reporting pages and SLA Commitment page
The due date originally calculated when the SLA Commitment was activated will be stored and cannot be edited.
If the status is Closed
All editing is restricted. If the SLA commitment is Exceeded, Exceeded Reason can be added from SLA Commitment Page.
If the status is Cancelled
All editing is restricted.
