Reassign CRM Records

Explanation

This activity is used to transfer the responsibility for customers or deals from one sales representative to the other e.g. when sales reps are onboarded, leave the company or change responsibility. The Reassign CRM Records assistant help sales admins to change ownership of CRM records in batch. You can use the Reassign CRM Records assistant to replace a representative or to add an additional representative to the selected records.

If Replace is selected as the action, the current representative will be removed from the selected records and the new representative will be added. If the current user is a main representative for the record, the new representative will be added as main. If the current user is not the main representative for the record, the new representative will be added as normal representative. If the Only Main Representative option is selected, only records where the current representative is main representative will be updated. If CRM Access is used and the current representative has been shared access to CRM records, the access can be transferred to the new representative with the assistant.

If Append is selected as the action, the new representative will be added to the selected records and the current representative will not be removed. If the Add as Main option is selected, the new representative will be added as main representative. If the Only Main Representative option is selected, only records where the current representative is main representative will be updated.

The assigning process can be selected to run as a background job.
