Add Scope to Schedule Line

Explanation

Use this activity to add a Service Scope to a single schedule occurrence on the Schedule tab in Recurring Service Program. Scopes cannot be created for models manually.

The manual scopes can be set independently of the service scopes, the model, object or location set on the recurring service program.

Prerequisites

• Service Scopes can only be added to schedule occurrences in status Generable.
• The service item should exist in Service Catalog.
• The object information should exist in Service Object.
• The Location information should exist in Location.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a one time service scope is added to the Recurring Program Schedule Occurrence. The scope line is marked as Manually added and the schedule occurrence line will be marked as Manually Changed.

Note: A Service Scope that is added to a single schedule occurrence will not appear among the Recurring Service Scopes on the Service Scopes tab, nor will the Service's related Standard Tasks appear on the Standard Tasks tab. The location cannot be modified within the schedule lines, but when manually adding a schedule line, it is possible to select a location.
