Manage Schedule of Work Change Control Settings
Explanation
This activity is used to define how Change Control will be handled for
your Schedule of Work. Use the Change Control command to
open the Change Control Settings dialog.
If Change Control is enabled, you can select the following options:
- SOW Change Order Required: When enabled, a Schedule
of Work Change Order must be created to update your Schedule of Work
item lines once the Schedule of Work is in the Approved
or Work Started status.
- SOW Change Comment Required: When enabled, you must
specify a Change Comment for your Schedule of Work items. This allows
for tracking changes using comments per item.
Prerequisites
A Schedule of Work Production must exists.
System Effects
If Change Control is enabled, the control settings will determine if you
must create a Schedule of Work Change Order for updates and specify a Change
Comment for each item.
