Execute Update Sub Contract
Explanation
This activity is used to connect selected item lines in the Schedule of
Work Estimate or Production to a Sub Contract Revision. This can be achieved
using the Update Sub Contract command.
This command will open an assistant based on the selected item(s). If at
least one selected item is already connected to a subcontract, the user can
choose the update method:
- Create New Sub Contract Item: This option allows
you to create a new Sub Contract Item.
- Update Sub Contract Item using
Connected Sub Contract Details: This option navigates you
to the Connected Sub Contract Details page.
Once a Schedule of Work Item is connected, you can manage Connected Sub
Contract Items from the Schedule of Work Connected Sub Contract
Details page. You can navigate to this page using the Connected
Sub Contract Details command or from the Update Sub
Contract assistant.
The Connected Sub Contract Details consist of
three tabs:
- Connected Items: When required, you can
update connected Sub Contract Items that have differences using the Update
Sub Contract command in this tab.
- Not Connected SOW Items: Schedule of Work
Items not yet connected can be pushed to Sub Contract Revision using
the Update Sub Contract command in this tab.
- Not Connected Contract Items: Sub Contract
Items not connected to any Schedule of Work Item can be viewed in this
tab.
Prerequisites
- Schedule of Work must exist.
- A sales contract revision should be created and connected to the
project for which the Schedule of Work is created.
- Sync Sales Contract should be enabled for your
Schedule of Work Item.
- SOW Type along with the contract statuses need to be added to the
Schedule of Work Defaults page.
System Effects
- Based on selected Schedule of Work Item information, Sales Contract
Items are created.
- The Connected Sales Contract Details command is
enabled for your Schedule of Work.
