Transfer Revenue Recognition Forecast to Business Planning

Explanation

This activity is used to transfer the content of a revenue recognition forecast to a business plan either within the same company or a different company used for planning. When transferring to a different company the company holding the revenue recognition forecast should be connected to a Planning Entity in the Company holding the Business Plan.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the following should exist:

• a revenue recognition forecast.
• a business plan with status Open.
• a planning unit with unit status Open and approval status Unapproved or Rejected.
• a planning entity must be defined when transferring to another company.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• a revenue recognition forecast will be transferred to a business plan.
