Edit Detection Criteria

Explanation

This activity is used to edit basic data for detection criteria for failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA). A detection criteria is a numerical representation of the probability that an FMEA control will be able to detect or eliminate a potential failure before it reaches the customer. There are 10 detection criteria ranks, ranging from 1 to 10, with 10 representing the lowest probability of detection.

Detection ranks are predefined. You can not add or delete them, but you can change their descriptions and the detection effects associated with them in the Detection Description and Detection Effect fields.
