Update Location On Demand
Explanation
Use this activity to manage how and when the device location is obtained
and the level of accuracy required. Configure this by adjusting the
LOCATION_ON_DEMAND_MODE parameter on the Application
Parameters page.
When LOCATION_ON_DEMAND_MODE is set to:
- COARSE: Enables location tracking with standard precision.
- FINE: Enables location tracking with higher precision than COARSE.
- OFF: Disables location tracking for the mobile app.

System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- COARSE: Location tracking for on-demand services is enabled in the mobile app.
- FINE: Enables location tracking with more precise granularity than COARSE for on-demand use.
- OFF: Disables location tracking for on-demand use.
