Turn on Barcode Scanning
Explanation
Use this activity to enable or disable barcode scanning for all text data
fields in the mobile app. To do this, change the parameter
BARCODE_SCANNING_ENABLED on the Application Parameters
page.
- If BARCODE_SCANNING_ENABLED is set to TRUE,
barcode scanning is enabled for all text fields in the mobile app.
- If BARCODE_SCANNING_ENABLED is set to FALSE,
barcode scanning is disabled for all text fields in the mobile app.
This setting determines whether barcode scanning is available for text
data fields in the app.

AS a result of this activity,
- If enabled, the barcode scanning command will be
available for all text data fields in the mobile app.
- If disabled, the barcode scanning command will not
be available for text data fields in the mobile app.
