Explanation

Use this activity to contact the third-party vendor Scandit if you need to use a licensed barcode scanner in your mobile apps. While there is a built-in barcode scanner available for free, it may not perform well in all situations. In such cases, you can opt for a licensed, higher-quality barcode scanner.

• If BARCODE_SCANNING_ENABLED is set to TRUE, barcode scanning is enabled for all text fields in the mobile app.
• If BARCODE_SCANNING_ENABLED is set to FALSE, barcode scanning is disabled for all text fields in the mobile app.

This setting determines whether barcode scanning is available for text data fields in the app.
