Create Fault Report

Explanation

This activity is used to report a fault of a linear asset. You can enter information on the fault location with the use of elements and segments. In the General section of the New Fault Report Assistant,  you can specify general information about the fault. Additionally, you can attach documents and media items.

This activity is performed in selecting object type as Linear Asset in New Fault Report Assistant.

Prerequisites

• Linear Asset should exist.
• Maintenance specific information such as maintenance organization and employee should be defined in the Organization Basic Data page.

System Effects

A work order is created for the linear asset.
