Publish FMECA Analysis

Explanation

When an FMECA Analysis enters the In-Review status, the Perform FMECA command becomes available and opens the Perform FMECA page. On this page, the analysis results are displayed, outlining the Decisions and Actions taken for each identified Failure Mode.

The Maintenance Decisions tab represents the results of the analysis from Prepare FMECA. The Objects for Analysis tab represents the results from the Objects page and the PM Programs tab represents the results from the PM Program page but in both cases, there needs to be an Item and Process class combination identical to the FMECA.

Apart from the Perform FMECA page, the result of the analysis is also available to view in the Equipment Object Navigator page for Asset Managers to visualize the FMECA results. The results can be visualized in this page when the item class and process class of an Equipment Object is the same as that of the FMECA.

Likewise, the PM Programs tab displays results when the item class and process class of the Applicable Object tab Class Definition section in the PM Program page is the same as that of the FMECA. You can also find how many of the FMECA uses Work Task Templates in the Work Task Template tab of the PM Program page.

Once the FMECA Analysis is completed, Asset Managers can review the analysis and suggest changes in Prepare FMECA.

Note: Changes cannot be done once the status of the Perform FMECA Analysis is in Active or Approve. To carry out any changes, a new Revision should be created.

Note: Only the latest revision of the FMECA is published in Perform FMECA and Equipment Object Navigator.
