Transfer Depreciation Plan to Business Plan

Explanation

This activity is used to transfer amounts from depreciation plans with simulated postings and planned acquisition values to a business plan. Transfer can be done either within the same company or a different company used for planning. When transferring to a different company the company holding the depreciation plan should be connected to a Planning Entity in the Company holding the Business Plan.

The status in the depreciation plan should be PostingsSimulated in order to transfer amounts from the depreciation plan to the business plan.

Prerequisites

In order to transfer amounts to the business plan;

System Effects

Planning transactions with transaction source Depreciation Cost, Accumulated Depreciation and/or Acquisition Value will be created in the selected business plan/planning unit for the selected period range. If planning transactions transferred from fixed assets already exist in the business plan/planning unit for the selected periods then the already existing planning transactions will be replaced.
