Revise and Manage Cascading Objectives Employee Wise

Cascading objectives allow a supervisor to distribute some of the objective/general performance targets that are assigned to the supervisor, to his/her respective subordinates. This functionality facilitates the organizational objectives to flow from the top all the way to the last node of the hierarchy. A supervisor can select an objective that is assigned for him/her and choose to cascade it to any employee the supervisor has access to.

Explanation

The Activity Revise and Manage Cascading Objectives Employee Wise is performed to make changes to individual employees while cascading an objective.

Example: - The performance objective that is assigned to the supervisor may have a target or description “50% growth in annual sales revenue” however, when the supervisor is cascading it to the subordinates, he/she may want to distribute this target among the subordinates, assume the 50% Growth means a sales revenue of 60 Million, the supervisor can assign a 20 million target to employee A and a 15 Million target to employee B and remainder to other subordinates.

Following fields can be changed employee wise before the supervisor performs the cascade

Transfer Remaining Weightage Button

If you have several subordinates you are cascading and would like to transfer any remaining weightage from their weightage balances of the respective performance year to the cascaded objective, in this case you can select the respective records and click on this button.

Objective for Performance Period and General Performance for Performance Period Sections

These two sections provide an overview on the existing objectives and general performance. When supervisor selects an employee from the manage cascaded list, these sections will list any objectives or general performances the selected employee has for the respective performance period.
Using these sections the supervisor can make changes to the weightage assignments (if the respective performance period is a weightage based period) and continue the cascade.
