This activity is used to select the required report from the available operational report list in Report Studio.
Through this activity, the user will be enabled to select the required report from the list of operational reports available under the Reports. A filter option is provided to ease the process. The user can filter the required report by Report Name or Report ID easily. Upon selecting the required report, two options will be enabled for the selected report as Show Details or Add New Layout. Show Details enables viewing the available layouts associated with the selected report. The Add New Layout enables creating a new layout for the selected report using the Layout assistant.
Note : Use the Layout Migration Tool in Developer Portal to convert
standard layouts to Report Studio -Designer formats for better
customization. It helps you convert existing standard layouts into the
flexible and customizable Report Studio -Designer format.
To proceed with report selection, a Report Layout is mandatory. If one doesn't exist, you'll encounter an error message ("No Report Layout Exists. Please Create a new Report Layout"). You have the option to create a new design or import an existing converted one.
