Add required Data Sources
Explanation
This activity is used to add Data Sources to the created Workload Job
Definition.
The Data Sources section on the Workload Job
Definition page enables adding
required Data Sources.
Selecting the + (new) option in the Data Sources section
displays the Data Source dropdown which includes the available Parquet Data
Sources. Required Data Source can be selected and then click
Save.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity:
- The necessary permission set needs to be granted to the user.
- Workload Job Definition should be created and available.
- Parquet Data Source(s) should be created and available.
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- The selected Data Source(s) will be added
as an entry in the Workload Job Definition page Data
Sources section.
- The Data Source entry
in the Data Sources section includes the respective Data Source’s
Last Refreshed
time and the Last Load Status (based on the Refresh History).
- For each Data Source entry, options are
available to navigate to the Workload Log page (View
Logs option) or to
the relevant Parquet Data Source Details page
(Details option).
