Enter SAS Token Details and Allowed IP Addresses to generate SAS Token

Explanation

This activity is used to start the assistant on Shared Access Signature token generation and IP whitelisting. By navigating to the Shared Access Signature page via the DEV environment, the IP Whitelisting assistant can be launched by clicking New Token. 

Through the assistant, the SAS Token Expiry Duration can be selected by the Expiration Date field, based on the system-provided expiry durations. And the IP Address can be added in the Whitelisted IP Addresses section. 

• Selecting ‘+’ will display a text box to type in the IP value. 
• Selecting ‘Add my public IP’ will detect and display the current user’s public IP. 

Multiple IPs can be added during a session and then a SAS Token can be generated by clicking Generate. 

Prerequisites

To perform this activity: 

• Necessary permissions should be available to access the Shared Access Signature page. 
• The list of IPs to be whitelisted should be known by the user who is granted permission.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the generated SAS Token and SAS URI will be displayed in the assistant.
