Edit Analysis Model

Explanation

This activity is used to Edit an Analysis Model before uploading it via IFS Cloud web. 

1. Editing Published IFS delivered model (downloaded) 
2. Editing Not Published IFS delivered model (downloaded) 
3. Editing own model 

     If it is required to connect new Parquet Data Sources via Azure Data Lake Gen 2 Storage, a Shared Access Signature Token (SAS Token) should be obtained and the IP should be whitelisted (given that the permission is available to access Shared Access Signature page via DEV environment).  Once the Parquet Data Sources are connected and model editing is completed, parameters need to be created before uploading. 

     Version controlling of the Edited/Uploaded models is recommended. 

Prerequisites

To perform this activity: 

• If an IFS-delivered model needs to be downloaded to customize, the required model version should to be available in the Golden Workspace.
• If new Parquet Data Sources are required to be connected to the model, the SAS Token should be available after whitelisting the IP. 
• Power BI desktop and other external tools need to be set up to use when required.
