Send Technical Record Update

Explanation

To update the central Technical Records Repository with records created on your Forward Operating Base (FOB), you export a file from your IFS Cloud system to your local machine. You then copy the transfer the file to the location where a TRR administrator can access the file and import it.

Steps

1. In the Aurena Navigator, go to the Disconnected Operations Workflow Manager / Prepare Deployment page.
2. Select the Destination AIRPORT location.
3. Select Send Updates.
4. In the Export Type field, select Technical Records, then click Next.
5. On the Select Aircraft page, select one or more aircraft.
6. Click Finish.

   Note: The number of days worth of records that are transferred when you send an update is configured during initial set-up of IFS Cloud. You don't select a particular set of records here.

Result: The system starts to prepare the file and displays a unique Transfer ID for the file.

7. Click View File.

   Result: On the Export File page you see the Transfer ID and status for the file.

8. When the file status is Ready To Export, click Export Files.
9. Enter your password and click OK.

Result: The export file is downloaded to your local machine. You can copy it to a filepath, drop box, or USB stick location where the destination location can access and import the file.
