The revert configuration changes should be performed when the Configuration Change Request is in Declined status and when it is decided not to do another configuration change as request configuration change is not accepted by the production team.
In the customer order line, the configuration should be edited, and the configuration should be set back to the old option values manually. The old option values are visible on the Configuration Change request page, Characteristic Changes tab.
