Unrelease CRO Repair

Explanation

To bring a released repair line back to Reserved status, click Status and then Unrelease. During the un-release process, the reservation is brought back from the repair order to the repair line, and the repair order is canceled when a purchase order is created directly from the release to repair assistant. When a purchase requisition is created as per the site parameter setting, purchase requisition will be deleted. If the procurement process has already started for the purchase requisition, it needs to be reversed first before running the Unrelease command. The status then changes to Reserved allowing to perform necessary changes and/or updates which preceded the un-release of the line. When all conditions are adjusted, you can continue to process the repair line. Release the line to repair again and a new repair order will be created.

Prerequisites

• A repair line must exist in Released status.
• No transactions can exist on the repair order.

System Effects

The following system effects will take place as a result of this activity:

• The status of the repair line is updated to Reserved.
• The reservation is disconnected from the repair order and connected to the repair line when the purchase order is created directly from the release to repair.
• The purchase order is cancelled when the purchase order is created directly from the release to repair.
• The purchase requisition is deleted when the purchase requisition is created from the release to repair.
