Update Employee Movements

Description of process

In the process of Salary Planning & Review, once the plan is generated, information is retrieved according to the specified snapshot date. If there is a necessity to modify this information, the Update Employee Movements assistant can be used. This tool enables users to adjust the salary review data for two categories of employees:

Employees transferring between different organizations

Following Illustrates how the budget will be moved within organizations when employee movements happens.


Organization which the employee will be moved into

Total Increment Budget = Previous Total Increment Budget of the organization + Increment Amount of the moved employees (This will be the Increment Amount that was set by the manager of Salary Setting Manager (SSM)

Remaining Budget = Previous Remaining Budget of the organization + (Increment Amount proposed by manager of SSM – Increment Amount proposed by SSM)

Organization which the employee moved out

Total Increment Budget = Previous Total Budget of the organization - Increment Amount of the moved employees (This will be the Increment Amount that was set by the manager of Salary Setting Manager)

Remaining Budget = Previous Remaining Budget of the organization - (Increment Amount proposed by manager of SSM – Increment Amount proposed by SSM)

 

When an employee is terminated,

Within the Termination Assistant, a check will be conducted to determine if the employee is active in any ongoing Salary Reviews. Should this be the case:

Upon either a transfer or a termination, the status of the entire organization will be reset to "Set for Review."
