Explanation

Salary Revision Request can be used by a manager to submit a request for a subordinate's salary revision. A request once submitted will go through an approval flow. Request submission should happen only one at a time and the reasons such requests are submitted can vary from one employee to another.

Salary Revision Request is available in both Manager Services and HCM Services. In Manager Services the manager's accessible companies will be shown for selection. After choosing the company, the manager's accessible employees will be listed for selection. In HCM Services an employee can be selected using the company context.

When an employee is selected the following details pertaining to the employee will be auto fetched:

Apart from Supervisor all the other fields are editable. If a field is left empty that can be filled at the point of saving. Once saved the Company and Employee fields also will become non-editable.

The mandatory fields of Employee Details, Request Details and Salary Revision Summary should be filled in order to save the record. A request in Preliminary, Confirmed, Approved and Change Requested statuses can be edited.

A filter is applied when initially displaying existing Salary Revision Requests. Therefore Salary Updated, Rejected and Obsolete statuses are not shown first, when the filter is switched off requests of these statuses would also be shown.

There are access attributes for Salary Revision Request and Salary Revision Request Compensation. If the attributes are activated, they should be assigned to the manager's access role to create a salary revision request or compensation record.
