Add Compensation Criteria

Explanation

This activity is used to add compensation criteria for the pre-enabled sections in the Exclude List Criteria template. The two sections/lists under Compenstion area i.e. Compensation Types and Job Grades can be enabled through the Exclude Criteria option. Select the Compensation Types and Job Grades that should be used as exclude criteria for the required companies. Only the companies assigned for the template are shown to be selected in both the lists.

Compensation Types

In Compensation Types for Period (Unit) selection there are 4 options: Year, Month, Week and Day. Criteria generation date is always the Snapshot Date entered in the Salary Review Plan and Group Salary Planning pages. The Snapshot Date is used to generate the preview in the Exclude List Criteria as well.

Eg: For Compensation Types assume the Compensation Type 'Base Salary' is selected and 3 months is given as the Period (No and Unit). Therefore 3 months before the period from snapshot date will be considered. If the Start Date of the compensation type validity period falls within this date period for a certain employee he/she will be considered as excluded.

Job Grades

In Job Grades the given job grade will be considered as an exclude criteria and employees who have that job grade will be exempted.
