By reviewing the communication log, you can see the status of communication activities such as requests and events between Mobile Maintenance for Aviation and line planning and configuration control systems like Maintenix.
For example, the communication log includes
requests such as
Configuration Management Service (CMS) validations and
events such as publishing a work package or completing workscope items.
A communication type is uniquely identified by a uniform resource identifier (URI).
You can define the level of detail that should
be captured for a communication activity from the Communication Log
Level page.
By default, a scheduled task removes both
complete and incomplete log entries after an expiry period of seven days.
Administrators can change the default expiry period by changing the property
value for the COMM_LOG_EXPIRY property on the Application Base Setup/System
Setup/System Definitions/Object
