About Calculation Formula Templates

Calculation formula templates are predefined calculation formulas. In order to run with the correct results the individual parameters need to be set after creating a calculation formula. Those parameters are marked in the Remarks column with '>>'. If necessary additional changes in the calculation formula can also be done. It is possible to create multiple calculation formulas from the same template.

The provided templates and required parameters are listed below.

Templates

WEEK: Weekly overtime calculation which considers provided wage codes as work hours and uses either an employee property field WEEKHRS or the scheduled hours as base for overtime calculation. The result will be written in periodic result. The calculation will be executed on the last day of the defined work week. If changes are made on the days before, the last day will be automatically recalculated.

The given week day defines the begin of the work week. The periodic result will be written with the work week starting on the given day, the calculation will always run on the last day of the work week. 1 - Monday

DAY_AND_WEEK: Combined daily and weekly overtime calculation. Work hours are calculated from provided wage codes. Overtime is calculated exceeding 8 work hours daily and 40 work hours weekly. The weekly overtime automatically deducts already provided daily overtime. In addition, work hours that exceed 12 hours per day will be considered as double time. On the 7th consecutive work day per week, the first 8 hours will be considered as overtime the exceeding hours will be also considered as double time. The calculated overtime will be written as result hours.
