Set Step to Not Applicable
Explanation
You can mark task steps as not applicable if you identify them as not
being relevant for a task. To mark a step as not applicable, click
Steps from Task Details and then for the
step that is not applicable, click Mark as N/A. When you
view steps on a task, and mark them as not applicable, a reason must be provided
as to why the step is not applicable and you then need to sign off on this
action.
Prerequisites
- The status of the work package must be Committed or
In Work.
- The status of the task step is Pending.
- The step must not have any corrective actions taken on it in
Task Actions
accessed via Actions Taken on the Task
Details page.
- The step must not have any signed measurements in the
Task Measurements
accessed via Measurements on the Task
Details page
System Effects
- The status of the step changes to Not Applicable.
- An action logging setting the step to not applicable is added to
Task Actions
accessed via Actions Taken on the Task
Details page. The action indicates the reason for the change as well as
your username as the user who made the change and the time.
